Service Description
Course Overview: This course provides managers with a structured approach to employee & business management that occurs during daily work activities inspired by the Toyota Way of Working. It focuses on developing practical skills, problem-solving capability, and leadership mindset through continuous coaching and reflection. The Lean Leadership Program forms a core element of Toyota’s people development system. It enables every manager to learn, improve, and contribute to organizational growth through daily practice. Compared to the Lean Leadership Program, people managers will also be able to explore the 4 steps of Lean Coaching in an additional day. Learning Objectives: By the end of this program, participants will be able to: · Apply structured problem-solving techniques to real work challenges. · Coach the problem-solving technique to their team members. · Manage the team and individual team members to achieve peak performance. · Integrate learning into daily work routines to support continuous improvement (Kaizen). · Strengthen communication and feedback loops between team members and leaders. 4. Methodology The Lean Leadership Program is built on the principle of learning by doing: 1. Observe: Understand current processes and identify improvement opportunities. 2. Do: Practice new skills or methods during actual work. 3. Reflect: Review what happened, what was learned, and what can be improved. 4. Coach: Leaders provide structured feedback and guide reflection sessions. Managers play a critical role as coaches — ensuring that every employee’s daily work includes opportunities to learn, experiment, and develop capability. 5. Key Content Areas The Lean Leadership Program is a modular program and has the following elements: · Problem-Solving methodology · On-the-Job Development of team members · Performance Management through Hoshin Kanri · Complementary tools based on the 4 steps of the Lean Coaching module o Situational Leadership o Competency Based Coaching o Working SMART o Constructive Feedback Target Audience: · Members of the company’s Management Team · Senior Managers · Middle Managers Course Format: Interactive workshop combining lectures, hands-on exercises, group discussions, and real-world problem-solving case. Participants apply each OJD step to a case study, guided by an experienced facilitator. Pre-Assessments: Participants complete several surveys before and during the training to assess their current situation.
